    2000 Highlights: Often complimented by Coach Grentz for her positive attitude * Hit three-pointer in the waning moments of the Illini's win over Indiana in front of a crowd of 1,300 from her hometown of Taylorville, Ill. * Scored points in back-to-back games vs. Boston College and Duquesne * Appeared in eight games totaling six points and one assist.

    High School: Three-sport athlete, played basketball and ran cross country and track * Basketball team won Regional titles all four years she was in high school * Played on most successful Taylorville team in history; the club went 34-1 and placed second in the state * Scored 11 points and added three assists and two steals in state quarterfinal win over Buffalo Grove; had five rebounds and four asssits in 67-61 win over Galesburg; and nine points and four assists in state championship game, a 59-40 loss to Loyola * Led team in assists * Two-time All-Central State Eight Conference performer * Team MVP as a senior * Coached by Carol Wilson and Gary McCullough in basketball, Jim DeWilde and Gary McCullough in cross country, and Sarah Marsaglia and Dan Nieves in track.
