    High School: Ranked as the seventh-best senior in America by the All-Star Girl's Report and Women's Basketball Journal * Player of the Year in the state of Iowa * Broke the state of Iowa scoring record with 2,494 career points * Became the first freshman in the 78-year history of Iowa basketball to lead the state in scoring (26.3 ppg) * Scoring increased to 29.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 6.0 steals per game as a sophomore and 28.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.9 steals per contest as a junior * During her senior season averaged 30.9 points, 11.9 assists and was 48 of 100 from the three-point line * The March '99 issue of Sports Illustrated for Women called O'Neil the top junior in the country * Was invited to the NIKE All-America camp for three straight years * Street and Smith's Pre-Season Second Team All-America in 1999-2000 * AAU Iowa State MVP 1998, 1999 * Invited to play in the WBCA All-Star Game * Kennedy qualified for the state tournament in 1998-99 and won three conference championships with O'Neil on the team * Named Iowa Sportswoman of the Year in 1999 * A first-team Parade All-American as a senior after being named second team as a junior and fourth team as a sophomore * A Naismith Player of the Year top-five finalist * Named fourth-team all-state in volleyball * Holds school scoring records for game (44), season (678) and season scoring average (30.9) * Two-time state AAU MVP * High school coach was Dennis Roloff.
