CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Junior Andrew Riley and freshman Davis Fraker are slated to compete at this weekend's NCAA Indoor Championships, as the official declaration list was announced Monday night. Riley will run the 60m hurdles at nationals for the third-consecutive season while Fraker will take part in the weight throw at Texas A&M's Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas.
Riley, a four-time All-American, automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships when he timed a season-best mark of 7.69 at the Tyson Invitational, which checked in just under the NCAA auto standard of 7.70. The Kingston, Jamaica, native will enter the meet as the No. 2 seed, as his time checked in only behind Texas' Keiron Stewart, who owns this year's top mark of 7.66. Riley is undefeated in the event this season, winning the title at all five meets in which he ran, including the Big Ten Indoor Championships.

The prelims of the 60m hurdles are scheduled for 4:45 p.m. CT on Friday, March 11, with the top-eight hurdlers advancing to Saturday's event final at 5:30 p.m. CT. Riley has qualified for the final both times he competed at nationals, twice earning All-American honors with a sixth-place finish in 2009 and a fifth-place showing in 2010.
Fraker, who is the first Illini to qualify in the event in school history, will compete in the weight throw on Saturday, March 12 at 5 p.m. CT. The Peachtree City, Ga., native broke the school record in the event with his very first collegiate throw of 67-11 (20.70m) and then reset his own mark two weeks later at the Illini Classic. His top throw of the year measured 68-2 ¼ (20.78m) and is tied for 13th out of the 16 marks to qualify. He took third at the Big Ten Championships with a distance of 67-6 3/4 (20.59m) and finished among the top three in the event at all eight meets in which he participated, including four victories.
ESPN2 will show a tape delay of the event on March 16 at 1:30 p.m. CT. ESPN3 will webstream the event on Friday, March 11 from 4-8:40 p.m. and Saturday, March 12 from 4-7:50 p.m. The remainder of the event will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
