The Meet
The Illini will send two individuals as well as two relays to this weekend's NCAA Indoor Championships, as the official declaration list was announced Monday night. The squad will run in the 4x400m relay and the distance medley relay along with Vanier Joseph in the 60m hurdles and Stephon Pamilton in the 400m at the national event at the University of Arkansas' Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

Joseph and Pamilton qualified in the 60m hurdles and 400m, respectively. Joseph turned in the 11th fastest time in the nation at the Big Ten Championships to finish second in the event while Pamilton won the 400m conference title with a time of 46.07, a time which is seventh best in the nation and second best in school history. The Illini are also one of three schools to qualify both the 4x4 and DMR to the NCAA Championships. The 4x400m relay turned in a season best time of 3:07.84 at the Alex Wilson Last Chance meet to advance to the national championships while the DMR set the school record at the same meet with a time of 9:29.40 which is the sixth best coming into the meet.

The prelims of the 60m hurdles are scheduled for 6:15 p.m. CT, the 400m semifinal is at 6:40 p.m. while the final of the DMR is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Friday, March 8. The top-eight in each race will advance to the finals which are slotted for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT (60m hurdles) and 6:50 p.m. CT (400m dash). The finals of the 4x4 is scheduled for 8:20 CT and is the last event of the championships.

ESPN3 will carry the evening sessions live, with the live webcast beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Kyle Engnell, (Sr., Homer Glen, Ill.) - Distance Medley
Ran the 1,200m leg of the distance medley relay team that set the school record of 9:29.40 at the Alex Wilson Last Chance meet ... DMR has the sixth fastest time in the nation coming into NCAA Championships ... School record broke the 18 -year drought, since the record was first recorded in 1995.

Juan Paul Green, (Fr., Miami, Fla.) - 4x400m
Part of 4x4 which owns the fourth fastest time in school history, set at Last Chance meet (3:07.84) ... Individually, scored points for the Illini at the Big Ten Championships, placing fourth in the 400m with a career best time of 47.03 ... Time at B1G Indoor meet is the 10th fastest in school history.

Vanier Joseph, (Jr., Redford, Mich.) - 60m Hurdles
Owns 11th fastest time coming into NCAAs ... One of three B1G competitiors in the event ... Earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors after finishing runner-up in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.74 which ranks second in school history ... Won the Spire Invitational in the event.

Ryan Lynn, (Sr., Park Ridge, Ill.) - Distance Medley
Ran the 800m leg of the distance medley relay team that set the school record of 9:29.40 at the Alex Wilson Last Chance meet ... DMR has the sixth fastest time in the nation coming into NCAA Championships ... School record broke the 18 -year drought, since the record was first recorded in 1995.

Graham Morris, (Sr., Lawrenceville, Ill.) - Distance Medley
Ran the 1,600m leg of the distance medley relay team that set the school record of 9:29.40 at the Alex Wilson Last Chance meet ... DMR has the sixth fastest time in the nation coming into NCAA Championships ... School record broke the 18 -year drought, since the record was first recorded in 1995.

Stephon Pamilton, (Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.) - 400m, 4x400m, Distance Medley
Won his first Big Ten title in the 400m with a time of 46.07 which is second fastest in school history ... Has the seventh fastest 400m time coming into NCAA meet ... Ran the 400m leg of the distance medley relay team that set the school record of 9:29.40 at the Alex Wilson Last Chance meet ... DMR has the sixth fastest time in the nation coming into NCAA Championships ... Part of 4x4 which owns the fourth fastest time in school history, set at Last Chance meet (3:07.84).

Malcolm Taylor, (Sr., Champaign, Ill.) - 4x400m
Part of 4x4 which owns the fourth fastest time in school history, set at Last Chance meet (3:07.84) ... Individually, qualified for finals of 600m at Big Ten Championships with personal best time of 1:18.09 which ranks 10th best in school history.

DJ Zahn, (So., Morton, Ill.) - 4x400m
Part of 4x4 which owns the fourth fastest time in school history, set at Last Chance meet (3:07.84) ... Individually, was part of the Big Ten Championships roster, running the 200m and was part of the DMR which scored points for the Illini, placing fifth.
