    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Senior Andrew Riley clocked an NCAA automatic qualifying time (7.69) in the prelims of the 60m hurdles and set an Illinois school record in the 60m (6.68) at the Tyson Invitational on Friday. Riley is joined by senior Cody Wisslead(7.94) in the finals of the hurdles tomorrow night. Riley, the Kingston, Jamaica, native highlighted Friday's action at the Randal Tyson Track Center and earned a trip to the NCAA Indoor Championships with the auto mark, where he will attempt to earn All-American honors for the fourth year in a row.

    "We had a really good day," head coach Mike Turk said. "Our upperclassmen led the way and set the tone for everyone else. Riley broke the 60m record in the prelims for the third time this year. Stanley Azieand Cody also ran very well, both setting new personal records. Our young guys also showed well. "

    Riley set the automatic qualifying time in the prelims of the hurdle race and advanced to the semifinals where he set a time of 7.70 to advance. Wisslead notched a time of 8.06 in the prelims of the event and set a time of 7.94 in the semifinals, the fourth fastest time in school history, to advance to the finals tomorrow.

    In the 60m, Riley set a new school record for the third time this year with a time of 6.68 in the prelims. All-American Stanley Azieadvanced to the semifinals of the event, recording a time of 6.75, moving him to sixth fastest in school history. The Bolingbrook, Ill., native took seventh place in the finals with a time of 6.85.

    In the shot put, freshman Brandon Noe took 10th with a throw of 50-10 (15.49m) and finished just in front of junior Brett Einbeckerwho threw 50-1 ¾ (15.28m) to take 11th in the event.
