2012 Track and Field
Outdoor: Earned USA Junior All-American honors after making the final in both the 100m and 200m ... Earned first-team USTFCCCA All-American honors after running the second leg of the 4x100m relay team which qualified for the NCAA Championships and set the third-fastest time (39.00) in school history ... Also ran the second leg of the 4x100m relay to the Big Ten title ... Individually qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round of Championships in the 100m and 200m ... Scored points individually for the Illini at the conference championship, making the finals of the 100m, finishing eighth and setting a personal-best time of 10.48 ... Notched a career-best 200m time (21.09) at the John McDonnell Invitational, finishing fourth.
Indoor: Placed third in the Big Ten Championships in the 60m dash with a time of 6.76 scoring six points for the Fighting Illini and recording the eighth fastest time in school history ... Placed second in the Big Ten Championships in the 200m with a career-best time of 21.43 scoring eight points ... Garnered second-team All-Big Ten honors after his stellar performances at the Big Ten Championships ... Ran a 6.88 in the 60m dash at the Illini Open to take first place ... Placed in the top ten in every 60m race he ran in ... Took third in the Illini Classic in the 200m with a time of 21.88 and fifth in the Mark Colligan Memorial with a time of 21.53.
