Wrestling Heads To Las Vegas

The University of Illinois wrestling team will travel to Primm, Nev., for the 19th Annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Wrestling Invitational. The field includes 11 of the top 22 teams in the country including four ranked in the top 10. Illinois, which is currently ranked No. 5, is the highest ranked team in the tournament.

The Illini placed second in this tournament last season and had two individual national champions. Adam Tirapelle and John Lockhart each won titles while Tirapelle was the the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler recording three falls and a major decision in the final.

Friday, December 2
