2014 NCAA Qualifier
2013-14: Full-time starter at 174 pounds ... Qualified for the NCAA Championships after placing fifth at the Big Ten Championships ... Advanced to the round of 12 with a 3-2 record at nationals, including three upset victories ... Won the Loras Open ... Went 6-2 in Big Ten Duals ... Became the school record holder in career pins with 40 after recording two falls at NCAAs ... Led the team with eight pins during the season ... Reached a season-high No. 8 ranking by W.I.N. 2012-13: Qualified automatically for the 2013 NCAA Championships by placing sixth at the Big Ten Championships ... Went 2-2 at the NCAAs ... Began the season with a 10-2 record including placing first at the Loras Open, earning Big Ten Wrestler of the Week, placing third at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open and notching six pins in a row ... HIGH SCHOOL: 2009 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class AAA champion at 189 pounds, winning three of his four bouts by fall ... Four-time PIAA medalist, finishing second at 140 in 2007, fifth at 152 in 2008 and eighth at 112 in 2006 ... Led Central Dauphin to team state championships in 2008 and 2009 ... Posted a career 171-28 record ... Recorded 31 falls during his senior season ... Raised over $11,000 for the Pins for Preston charity during his senior year.
