Illinois faces Purdue, Lock Haven and Michigan.
2012-13: Compiled a 4-2 record at the Flash Flanagan Open.
2011-12: Compiled a 4-5 record ... Went 3-1 at the Loras Open placing second ... Defeated Aaron Frye (Lock Haven) with a 10-5 decision.
2010-11: Started at 157 for the first half of the season, compiling a 7-6 record ... Placed third at the Lindenwood Open ... Upset No. 20 Dan Gonsor (Missouri) in the season-opening dual, two weeks after being pinned by Gonsor at Lindenwood.
2009-10: Went 8-8 on the season, wrestling entirely at 157 except for a major-decision win against Findlay in which he wrestled at 165 ... Finished fourth at the Lindenwood Open, falling to Illini teammate Clint Arlis in the third-place match ... Earned a dual win against Davidson at the Sprawl and Brawl duals ... Went 0-2 at the Las Vegas Invitational ... Went 1-2 at Midlands
2008-09: Redshirt season ... Went 4-4 with a fourth-place finish at the Dan Gable Open ... Also went 0-2 at the UNI Open.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2007 Illinois state Class A 140-pound champion ... Illinois state Class A runner-up at 130 pounds in 2006 and 152 pounds in 2008 ... Three-time All-Okaw Valley Conference selection ... Holds school records for season and career wins and takedowns ... Earned seven varsity letters at Monticello - four in wrestling and three in football ... Two-time All-Okaw Valley Conference football selection.
