1999-2000: Filled in for an injured Carl Perry at 141 pounds at the Las Vegas Invitational and two duals posting a 4-2 record while compiling a 9-6 overall mark on the season Went 2-0 in dual action with wins over Marquette and Southern Illinois Earned his third varsity letter.

1998-99: Compiled an 8-7 record at 149 pounds competing in the St. Louis Open (1-2), the UNI Open (2-2), the Midlands (0-2) and the Miami Open (4-1) where he earned second place honors Earned a 17-2 decision over Beau Baker of Tennessee-Chatanooga in his lone dual appearance of the season.
