The Orange and Blue had a stellar meet, with junior Andrew Zollner and freshmen Jared Richardson and Brian Beaird also posting personal bests in the outing.

Zollner won the pole vault with a personal-best height of 16'05.25" to kickoff a solid Illini performance. Richardson followed with a second-place outing in the 800m, recording a personal best time of 1:53.21. Also recording a personal best on the day was Brian Beaird in the 800m with a 1:54.67.
