Placed eighth at the NCAA Championships in the 400m dash
(46.66), earning All-American honors ... Ran anchor leg of team 4x400m relay

1998 Indoors
Ran third leg on Illinois' 4x400m relay team which finished
second at the NCAA Championships (3:08.75), earning All-American honors ...
Also ran on Big Ten championship 4x400m relay team ... Scored in the 200m at
Big Ten meet.
Outdoors
Placed second in the Big Ten 200 meters (21.16) and 7th in the
110m hurdles ... Ran on 4x100m and 4x400m relays at Big Tens which placed
fourth and second, respectively. High School - Helped lead his team to the 1997 state title ... State
champion in the 300m hurdles ... Also earned all-state honors in the 110m
hurdles, high jump, 200, and 4x200 and 4x400 relays ... Scored 24 points in
1997 meet alone (2nd in 200, 2nd in 110m hurdles, 2nd in 300m hurdles, 3rd
in 4x200 relay) ... Named the Coca Cola/Chicago Defender Player of the Week
