Aron Hiltzik Receives Inaugural US Open Junior Sportsmanship Award

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The USTA announced that Illini freshman Aron Hiltzik was honored with the inaugural US Open Junior Sportsmanship Award. The inaugural award, which was also given to CiCi Bellis of Atherton, Calif., was given to the junior boy and girl who best demonstrate excellent sportsmanship at this summer's USTA National Championships. The awards were presented on Aug. 23 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center by USTA Chairman, CEO and President Dave Haggerty and Chanda Rubin.

Hiltzik is currently ranked No. 3 nationally in the USTA Boy's 18s rankings and will join his older brother, junior Jared Hiltzik, to compete for the Orange and Blue this upcoming season. Aron will also play in next week's US Open Junior Championships in Flushing, New York.
