VANCOUVER, B.C. - Former Illini and 2006 NCAA Doubles Champion Kevin Anderson and partner Rik De Voest (RSA) defeated the fourth-seeded duo of Colin Fleming (GBR) and Ken Skupski (GBR), 6-3, 3-6, 11-9 in the quarterfinal round of the Odlum Brown Vancouver Open Thursday afternoon. They will next battle Amir Hadad (ISR) and Harel Levy (ISR) for a spot in the championship match.

Current Illini Dennis Nevolo and Roy Kalmanovich both fell in second-round matches at the USTA/Ursula Beck Pro Tennis Classic on Thursday in Decatur, Ill. Nevolo lost to top-seeded Phillip Simmonds (USA), 6-4, 6-4, while Kalmanovich was topped by No. 8-seed Dennis Zivkovic (USA), 6-4, 6-3.
