CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The 2013 NCAA Men's and Women's Championships begin Thursday, May 16 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex with the University of Illinois acting as host for the first time in school history. This year's tournament marks the 10-year anniversary of the Fighting Illini men's squad that went a perfect 32-0 on its way to the program's first NCAA national championship.

On Saturday, May 18, the 2003 squad will be recognized and honored at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex at 4 p.m. CT, right before the second half of the mens' team quarterfinals. Confirmed attendees for Saturday include Amer Delic, Rajeev Ram, Ryler DeHeart, Brian Wilson, Phil Stolt, Michael Calkins, Chris Martin, Pramod Dabir, Nathan Zeder and former coaches Bruce Berque and ITA Hall of Famer Craig Tiley.

The 2003 team captured the championship in dramatic fashion, rallying from the brink of defeat at 3-1 to take the title match 4-3. Illinois became the fourth undefeated team to win the NCAA team title. In addition, Amer Delic went on to capture the NCAA singles championship, while Brian Wilson and Rajeev Ram completed the sweep with a NCAA doubles title. 

Fans can purchase tickets for the 2013 tournament by calling 866-Illini-1 or can buy tickets on site at Atkins. Adult all-session tickets are $100, while youth (18 and under) all-session tickets are $75. Single-day tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for youth. Admission is free for children age two or younger. Groups of 10 or more can purchase single-day group tickets at $5 apiece by calling the Illinois Ticket Office at 866-Illini-1.
