Head Coach Brad Dancer announced the addition of three matches to the Illinois home schedule next weekend.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois head coach Brad Dancer announced Friday the addition of three matches to his team's schedule for next weekend Feb. 27-Mar. 1. The No.10-ranked Illini will host a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 27 with Detroit at 1 p.m. and will then face Purdue,in an originally scheduled match, at 6 p.m. On Sunday, Mar. 1, the Orange and Blue welcome Northern Illinois and Illinois State, with match times set for 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively.

In the latest Campbell's Soup / ITA rankings, the Illini came in at No. 10, up three spots from the previous weeks rankings. The Illini also boast five players in the top-125 individual rankings. Freshman Dennis Nevolo leads the Illini charge, coming in at No. 49, followed closely by senior Marc Spicijaric at No. 50. Rounding out the Illini in the top-125 are sophomore Roy Kalmanovich (No. 65), junior Billy Heiser (No. 90) and junior Marek Czerwinski (No. 110).
In doubles, the Illini have two tandems in the standings with the freshmen duo of Nevolo and Ruan Roelofse coming in at No. 26 and the veteran tandem of Spicijaric and Czerwinski entering the charts at No. 35.
