Ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation in singles
Advanced to the singles quarterfinals of the ITA All-American Tournament, defeating No. 5 Benjamin Becker of Baylor along the way
Won the ITA Midwest Regional singles championship (first for a UI player)
Reached Round of 16 at ITA National Indoors
Became first UI player in six-year history of the University of Illinois-hosted USTA Challenger to reach the main draw of the event through the qualifying rounds

Ended the 2002 season on an 11-match winning streak with doubles partner Brian Wilson
Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors
2000-01:
Led the Fighting Illini with 32 singles victories-went 32-17, playing mostly at No. 2; his 32 wins were the sixth-most by an Illinois player in a single season and the most ever by an Illinois freshman
Had a 24-8 doubles record, playing mostly at No. 2
Biggest singles win came Oct. 12 when he beat No. 11 Mark Parsons of Tennessee at the ITA All-America Tournament
Selected to All-Big Ten team
University of Illinois Co-Male Newcomer of the Year (all sports) with Amer Delic

Ranked as high as No. 35 nationally in singles

Only high school player to win New Jersey state championships back to back (junior and senior seasons)
