Illinois Gymnastics to Host Gym Jam Saturday, March 13 at Huff Hall

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The University of Illinois gymnastics teams will host Gym Jam, presented by the News-Gazette, WDWS, and WHMS, this Saturday, March 13 at Huff Hall, featuring the No. 13 women's team against No. 14 Missouri and the No. 3 men's gymnastics team versus No. 4 Michigan. The meet starts at 2 p.m. with free food for the first 1,000 fans beginning at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for youth, or fans can come to the Football Family Fun Fest to pick up a free gymnastics admission ticket.
The women's team will compete in its final home meet of the season and celebrate Senior Day. Three Illini senior gymnasts, Nicole Cowart, Sarah Schmidt and Laura Woolf, along with team manager Lori Hamilton will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities.
The men's team is currently undefeated, boasting a perfect 10-0 record, and will take on Big Ten foe Michigan, who they knocked off earlier this year at the Windy City Invitational.
Fans also will have the opportunity to meet and get posters autographed by both teams after the conclusion of the meet.
