Earned 2006 Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors (3/1)...Named 2006 NCAA All-American...Finished third on parallel bars, fourth in all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the 2006 NCAA Championships...Named to the 2006 All-Big Ten team...Tabbed a 2006 Academic All-Big Ten selection...Finished second overall in all-around (53.400), third on parallel bars (9.325), fourth on rings (9.275) and high bar (9.162) and fifth on vault (9.375) at Big Tens...Earned eight event titles overall in 2006, including the FX (2/25), PH (1/21), VT (three times), HB (2/25) and AA(twice)...Competed in every meet for the Illini, including five appearances in the all-around competition...Notched two career bests during the 2006 season, including a 9.400 on floor exercise at UIC (2/25) and a 9.600 on Vault at Big Tens (3/24).

Earned Big Ten Rookie of the Year honors...Tied the school record on rings (9.850) at the Big Ten team finals...In just his second collegiate meet, he captured the all-around title vs. Minnesota with a school record 55.950 score, surpassing Justin Spring's previous record of 55.600...Also captured the title on high bar vs. Minnesota with a career-high 9.550...Inside Gymnastics NCAA Gymnast of the Week (1/27) after the Minnesota meet...Placed fifth in all-around with a 51.548 at the 2005 Winter Cup...Took second place in the all-around competition at his first collegiate meet, the Windy City Invite...Finished the season ranked No. 11 in the nation on rings and No. 12 on parallel bars.

Two-time Junior Olympic National Champion, once in 2000 and again in 2003...At the Junior Pan Am Games in 2002, finished second in the all-around competition and first on both the parallel bars and high bar...Participated in the J.O. Nationals every year since 1998...Won first place on the pommel horse a the 2002 U.S. Championships...Won first on both the high bar and pommel horse at the 2003 U.S. Championships.
