    1999-2000: Scored a 9.30 on p-bars for 20th at NCAA Championships. Entered nationals ranked eight in the nation on parallel bars. Placed 14th on parallel bars at Big Ten Championships with a mark of 9.55. Took second at UIC with a 9.70 on p-bars. Placed third on parallel bars at Minnesota with a mark of 9.150. Broke the Illinois school record on parallel bars on January 20 against Michigan State with a 9.90. Took second on parallel bars against Penn State. Finished with a 9.45 for second against Michigan on parallel bars. Placed second on parallel bars at Santa Barbara Invitational with a 9.80.

    1998-99: Ranked 13th in the nation on parallel bars in the final polls. Finished 39th on parallel bars at the NCAA Championships with a 9.05 mark. Placed 11th on parallel bars with a score of 9.525 at the East Regionals to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the event. Scored a career-high 9.40 on high bar at the regionals. Finished 11th on parallel bars at Big Ten Championships with a score of 9.550. Placed third on parallel bars with a 9.450 in final regular season meet at Santa Barbara. Finished fifth on p-bars against California, the defending national champion. Scored a 9.60 on parallel bars for sixth place against Ohio State. Placed second on parallel bars with a 9.60 while hosting Minnesota. Finished third on parallel bars with a score of 9.15 at Penn State. Placed third on parallel bars with a 9.60 and fourth on floor with a season-best 9.350 at Illinois-Chicago. Scored a 9.30 on floor vs. Iowa Placed third on the parallel bars with a career-high score of 9.70 at Michigan. Scored a 9.20 on floor, placing 15th at the Windy City Invitational.

    1997-98: Competed in every meet for the Illini, mainly on the floor exercise, parallel bars and high bar. Excelled during the postseason with top scores coming on floor (9.575) at the NCAA Championships and on the p-bars (9.55) at the regionals. Earned Academic All-America honors with a 3.50 GPA.

    High School: Two-time regional team member. Three-time national competitor. Competed in the Junior National all-around finals in '97. Earned Academic All-America honors in '96 Graduated from high school with high honors.

    Personal: Son of Robert and Patricia Cook. Enjoys hiking and rock climbing.
