    2001-02: Academic All-Big Ten selection ? Competed in three tournaments, the Badger Invitational, Purina Classic and Pepsi Cola Invitational, as well as Illinois? dual match vs. Illinois State ? Shot a career-low round of 1-under par 70 during the second round of play at the Purina Classic ? Also carded a career-low 54-hole score at the Purina Classic, shooting a 225 ? Finished the year with a stroke average of 77.3 ? Earned third Varsity ?I? award.

    2000-01: Competed in nine tournaments during the year ? Best individual performance came in a career-high 33rd place finish at the Falcon-Cross Creek Invitational ? Carded season-low round of 74 three times, at the Badger Invitational, Falcon-Cross Creek Invitational and the Marshall Invitational ? Shot season-low 54-hole score of 228 at both the Badger Invitational and the Marshall Invitational ? Earned second Varsity ?I? award.

    1999-2000: Competed in 11 of 12 tournaments on the season ? Best individual finish during the year was a tie for 38th at the Louisville Intercollegiate ? Shot a season-low round of 74 at the Falcon-Cross Creek Invitational, during the first round of golf of his collegiate career ? Earned first Varsity ?I? award.

    1998-99: Redshirted the season.

    High School: Finished 10th at the Illinois state championship in 1997, earning All-State honors ? Helped his team to a third-place finish at state in 1997 ? Sectional champion in 1996 ? Had a senior year stroke average of 74.2 ? Earned four letters at Wheaton Warrenville South, three in golf and one in basketball ? Captain of the golf team his senior year ? Achieved All-State, all-conference and academic all-conference recognition in golf in 1996 and 1997 ? Chick Evans qualifier, played in the Illinois State Amateur, placed 10th at the Future Masters, seventh at the Pizza Hut Invitational, and was a Maxfli qualifier ? Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
