Fall 2011Played in all four fall tournaments ... Turned in his best finish at the season-opening Northern Intercollegiate, tying for 25th while competing as an individual ... Shot a career-best 54-hole score of 223 at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational ... Also competed at the D.A. Weibring Invitational and Jack Nicklaus Invitational.
2010-11:
Participated in two tournaments on the season, the Louisiana Classics and the Illini Spring Classic ... Had the best second round at the Illini Spring Classic with a one-under par 71 where he tied for third.
2009-10:
Used season as a redshirt year ... Won the CDGA Junior Open and the Medinah Invitational ... Used year as a redshirt ... Member of champion duo at the 42nd Annual Sunset Hills Match Play Championship, teaming with Ed Whitaker.
High School
Claimed the IHSA Class 2007 1A title with a state record low score of 137 while current Illini freshman Mason Jacobs of Massac County won in 2A and Quincy's Luke Guthrie in 3A ... Tied for third at this year's state tournament, helping Peoria Christian to sixth in the team race and tied for second behind Jacobs individually in the Class A meet as a sophomore ... Also was in the line-up in 2005 as PCHS won the Class A state title ... Hauter has had success in AJGA events, placing 11th at the John Deere Junior Classic and 11th at the Cliffs Championship.
