Named Second Team All-Big Ten Second-round leader at the Big Ten Championship after rounds of 70 and 66 Placed 7th at Big Ten Championship Has posted nine rounds under par Finished in the top 20 in eight of the 12 tournaments, including four top 10s Finshed fifth at the FAU Spring Break Invitational in March Posted the lowest scoring average of his career at 72.90.
2008-09:
Placed second at the Western Amateur Qualified for the U.S. Amateur Won two collegiate tournaments, including the prestigious Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational Paired with two of the top four finishers from 2008 NCAA Championship in that event -- Jorge Campillo of Indiana and Rickie Fowler of Oklahoma State Claimed his second career title at the Marshall Invitational, which included a 66 on the tournament's first day Tied the tournament low with a 68 on the final day of the Big Ten Championship, Illinois' top scorer that day Birdie late in the final round helped Illini to one-stroke victory at Boilermaker Invitational Won the 2008 Illinois Amateur by three shots at seven-under par, becoming the first University of Illinois player to do so since 1999 and one of the few player from downstate with the title.
2007-2008:
Made the five-man Illinois team that competed at the NCAA?Championships Won the Illinois State Amateur by three shots at seven-under par, becoming the first Illinois player to do so since 1999 Posted two top-ten finishes, a tie for fourth at the D.A. 2006-2007:
Competed in three tournaments, all during the fall, and had a stroke average of 77.89 on the season Had a season-high finish of 33rd at the Windon Memorial Classic Shot a career-low score of 74 during the final round of the Windon Earned first Varsity "I" award.

Sat out the year as a redshirt.
