    Locker Room

The Illinois football locker room was renovated back in 1977, then totally replaced in 1985 when the Football Complex in the northeast tower of Memorial Stadium was constructed in 1985. The locker room underwent its most recent transformation in 1992, just before the Chicago Bears shared it with the Fighting Illini when the Bears played their home games in Champaign while Soldier Field was being renovated. The facility, located adjacent to the equipment room and across the hall from the training room, houses 113 oak lockers as well as rest room and shower facilities, in addition to a juke box and a TV/video-game lounge area.

"Both of my parents went to Illinois, and as a kid I would get Illinois football tickets as birthday presents. It was a dream for me to be a part of something that I grew up watching and being able to play for Illinois was special for me and my family."
