CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Postseason honors continue to roll in for Fighting Illini players, as junior running back Mikel Leshoure, junior defensive tackle Corey Liuget, redshirt-freshman quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase and redshirt-freshman defensive tackle Akeem Spence all appeared on award lists released Wednesday.

Leshoure was named a third-team All-American by Phil Steele and Liuget earned fourth-team All-America honors by Phil Steele. Spence was a first-team Freshman All-American by Phil Steele and a second-team pick by CollegeFootballNews.com, while Scheelhaase earned fourth-team Freshman All-America honors from Phil Steele and honorable mention from CollegeFootballNews.com.
