Academics comes first at Illinois, so it’s very fitting that the first room on our tour of the U of I Irwin Football Complex is the study hall. On the back wall are certificates for more than 200 Illini players who have achieved Academic All-Big Ten status. There are also pictures and statistics on the walls that recognize the players who have achieved high academic honors at the University of Illinois.
