Sept. 19, 2007

Just two days after announcing its first sellout of the season, the University of Illinois Athletic Ticket office has declared another sold out contest: the Oct. 6 clash with Wisconsin. Additionally, tickets are moving fast for the Sept. 29th matchup vs. Penn State as fewer than 1,000 remain.

Game time and network television coverage will be announced for the game against the Badgers on Monday, Sept. 24.

The two sellouts already announced for the 2007 season, vs. Michigan and Wisconsin, matches the number of capacity crowds recorded during the 2001 Big Ten Championship season (Penn State and Wisconsin.)

The seats remaining for the Penn State game are for the first five rows of Memorial Stadium. Seats in the first five rows are generally covered, as they are considered obstructed-view seats. The football teams' sideline presence causes a viewing obstruction for fans in these locations. The obstructed-view seat price for the first five rows is $24, a substantial price reduction off the standard $42 sideline price.

For ticket information, contact the UI Athletic Ticket Office in person at the Assembly Hall North Box Office, by phone at 217/333-3470, or via the Internet at www.fightingillini.com.
