Arrelious Benn showed flashes of brilliance as a freshman, despite being hampered by a shoulder injury.

The University of Illinois football team will be featured in the next issue of The Sporting News, the magazine's college football preview. The Illini rate as The Sporting News' No. 10 team in is preseason national rankings, and sophomore wide receiver Arrelious Benn has been chosen as one of college football's six game-breakers.

The Sporting News also predicts Illinois' return to the Rose Bowl for a rematch with USC in its bowl predictions. The issue includes conference and individual team breakdowns and well as early season game predictions.

The issue could hit newsstands as early as today, and subscribers will begin receiving the magazine Thursday.
