Illini Football Tickets on Sale at Market Place Mall

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Illini fans now have another outlet to purchase their 1999 football and volleyball tickets ... Market Place Mall.

The University of Illinois will be selling single game football tickets and season volleyball tickets at a kiosk at the mall beginning Wednesday, August 11. The kiosk will be open all day the first week and after the opening week, tickets will be available at the Illini kiosk daily from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-9 p.m.

Fans may also still purchase tickets by phone, 333-3470, or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office, Room 100 of the Assembly Hall.

Take a Kid to the Game

In conjunction with the NCAA and the College Football Coaches Association, the University of Illinois will have, "Take a Kid to the Game" for the season opener on September 4 against Arkansas State. Every student, eighth grade and younger, who wears a uniform (scouting, sports, etc.) to the game will gain free admission with a paid adult.

There is no limit to the number of kids who can receive free admission with a paying adult, so long as each child is wearing a uniform.

Kickoff time for the Arkansas State game is 2:30 p.m.
