CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Illinois football fans will have an opportunity to meet and get autographs from the 2014 Fighting Illini and head coach Tim Beckman on Sunday, Aug. 10, from 4-5 p.m. in the Great West Hall at Memorial Stadium. Admission for the event is free and parking will be available in the northwest lot of State Farm Center free of charge.

Fans attending Fan Appreciation Day will be able to enter on the west side of Memorial Stadium starting at 3:45 p.m. Team posters and silver markers will be available for players to sign, but fans also can bring their own markers and items to be autographed (limit of 2 per person). Players will be seated by position groups in the Great West Hall. Out of respect for other fans waiting in line, players will not be able to accommodate photo requests from fans.

The Illini open the 2014 season by hosting Youngstown State at 11 a.m. on Aug. 30, the first of seven home games. Season and single-game tickets are on sale now.
