Dre Brown Joins Illini Class of 2015
Running back Dre Brown became the first official member of the 2015 Fighting Illini recruiting class when he officially signed his financial aid agreement. In a rule interpretation given in October 2013, the NCAA now allows prospective student-athletes who are going to enroll early at a college or university to sign a financial aid agreement starting Aug. 1 of their senior year. This allows the institution to announce and comment on the student-athlete.

Brown is a four-star recruit according to Scout.com and hails from DeKalb, Illinois. He rushed for 1,584 yards and racked up 26 touchdowns as a junior.
