Fighting Illini head football coach Tim Beckman will be in Bristol, Conn., on Thursday for the ESPN "car wash" treatment, a full day of interviews at ESPN headquarters.

Wilson will kick off his schedule at 10 a.m. CDT with an ESPN Digital Media session. The rest of the day includes segments on SportsCenter and College Football Live, and ESPN.com live chat, and sit-downs with Travis Haney and Brett McMurphy.

Illinois opens preseason training camp on Monday, Aug. 5 in Champaign before spending a week at Camp Rantoul (Aug. 12-19) in preparation for the 2013 season. Illinois opens the season by hosting Southern Illinois on Aug. 31. Season and single-game tickets for the 2013 Illinois football season, which includes seven home games, are on sale now. The Fighting Illini also will host the Chicago Homecoming game at historic Soldier Field on Sept. 14 against Washington. Tickets for the Chicago Homecoming game start at $30 and are on sale now.
