Five of Illinois' 12 games for the 2009 season have been assigned kickoff times thus far.

The Big Ten Conference announced today a pair of game times and television coverage for the 2009 Illinois football schedule. The Fighting Illini will host Michigan Oct. 31 at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC and Fresno State Dec. 5 at 11:30 a.m. CT on the Big Ten Network. Illinois now has five of its 12 game times scheduled for 2009.

| Sept. 12 | Illinois State - 6 p.m. BTN |
| Oct. 17 | at Indiana - 6 p.m. BTN |
| Oct. 31 | Michigan - 2:30 p.m. ABC |
| Dec. 5 | Fresno State - 11:30 a.m. BTN |
