CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Big Ten Network announced today start times and broadcast information for the first three weeks of the 2013 football season, including the Aug. 31 Illinois season-opener against Southern Illinois at Memorial Stadium. The Illini and Salukis will start and 11 a.m. CT on BTN.

Illinois now has six of its 12 game times set for 2013, including home games against Cincinnati (Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.), Wisconsin (Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.) and Michigan State (Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m.), the Chicago Homecoming game at Soldier Field (Sept. 14 at 5 p.m.) and one road game at Nebraska (Oct. 5 at 11 a.m.). No more game times are expected to be announced prior to the season.

The Fighting Illini will again play seven home games in 2013, including three in the month of September and a marquee Big Ten slate of Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State and Northwestern. Season tickets can be purchased here for as low as $99.

In addition to the exciting seven-game home slate, the Fighting Illini will also host the Chicago Homecoming game at historic Soldier Field in Chicago on Sept. 14 against Washington. Tickets for the Chicago Homecoming game start at $30 and are on sale now.
