FOX Selects Illinois-Washington Game on Sept. 13

The Pac-12 Conference announced on Thursday start times and television information for several 2014 football games, including Illinois' game at Washington on Sept. 13. The Fighting Illini and Huskies are slated for a 1 p.m. PDT/3 p.m. CDT start on FOX.
Washington leads the all-time series with Illinois by a 6-4 margin, including a 34-24 victory over the Illini at Soldier Field in 2013, the first meeting between the two teams in 41 years. Washington holds a 3-1 series margin in Seattle. The last time the two teams played at Husky Stadium was on Sept. 30, 1972, a 31-11 Washington victory. Husky Stadium recently finished a $280 million renovation prior to the 2013 season.
Illinois now has four 2014 game times set, as the Sept. 27 game at Nebraska (8 p.m. CDT) and Nov. 1 game at Ohio State (7 p.m. CDT) were both previously announced as primetime games, and the Homecoming game against Minnesota on Oct. 25 is set for 11 a.m. CDT.
The Fighting Illini will again play seven home games in 2014, including three in the month of September and a Big Ten slate of Purdue, Minnesota, Iowa and Penn State at Memorial Stadium. This year marks the first season of East-West divisional play in the Big Ten Conference. Illinois is in the Big Ten West division along with Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin. Ohio State is one of two crossover games for the Illini in 2014, along with Penn State. Season tickets are on sale now for as low as $99.
