Former Illini Carey Davis and Jason Davis Host Pro Sportsfest in St. Louis

Youngsters are invited to join St. Louis-area celebrities and former Fighting Illini and current NFL fullbacks Carey Davis (Pittsburgh Steelers) and Jason Davis (Chicago Bears), and other sports celebrities in hosting the inaugural STL Pro Sportsfest. The goal of the event is to encourage young people to get physically and academically fit. The Davises have enlisted the support of their NFL friends to help make this event a success. Special awards will be given to kids achieving A/B honor roll.

Jason Davis is a graduate of Lindbergh High School (MO) and was a football star at the University of Illinois. He currently plays for the Chicago Bears.Carey Davis is a graduate of Hazelwood Central High School (MO) and also competed at Illinois. He currently plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The dates of the event have been set for Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th. A summary of the events is as follows:
