Limited Number of $99 Season Tickets Remain
May 6, 2013
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics officials announced Monday that limited quantities of the popular $99 family-rate season tickets remain. One of the best values in college football at less than $15 per game, the family-rate tickets have sold out each year since they were first introduced for the 2007. Because of the high demand, seats in section 102, which was added as a family-rate section this year, already have sold out, leaving fewer than 2,000 horseshoe seats available as family-rate tickets. Sideline season tickets also are on sale now by phone, while single-game tickets will go on sale July 23. Sideline season ticket prices remain the same price as last year for the seven-game schedule, $230 for seats outside the 20 yard-lines and $315 for prime locations between the 20s on each side.
Student season tickets, located in the north end zone (sections 132-137) remain an incredible value at $99 and include a free ticket to the Chicago Homecoming game at Soldier Field on Sept. 14. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Illinois Ticket Office at Assembly Hall, by phone at 1-866-ILLINI-1 or online at fightingillini.com.
In addition, premium seating options are available in suites and club seating areas. To inquire about available opportunities, call Illinois Premium Seating at 217-265-0347, visit FightingIllini.com, or view their 2013 sales brochure. The Fighting Illini will again play seven home games, including three in the month of September and a marquee Big Ten slate of Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State and Northwestern. In addition to the exciting seven-game home slate, the Fighting Illini will also host the Chicago Homecoming game at historic Soldier Field in Chicago on Sept. 14 against Washington. Tickets for the Chicago Homecoming game are on sale now.
