Donate Life Illinois | Track Illinois' Donor Goal Progress

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has joined forces with Donate Life Illinois for the commencement of an innovative campaign beginning this Friday night at the Orange and Blue Spring Game at Memorial Stadium. This campaign is dedicated to registering Illini students, fans and alumni as organ, eye and tissue donors for the purpose of offering sight, life and mobility to those in need. If you already are a registered donor, the University of Illinois and Donate Life Illinois encourage you to share your decision with your family and friends.

"Donate Life Illinois is excited about the partnership with University of Illinois," said Diane Hollingsworth, chair of Donate Life Illinois. "In Illinois alone, over 5,000 individuals are waiting for a lifesaving transplant. We hope everyone will consider becoming champions for Donate Life by joining the registry."

Donate Life Illinois staff and advocates will host a donor designation booth at Illinois football games throughout the 2013 football season and fans can begin participating in the first on-site registration opportunity on Friday.
