The Division of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today that its 2009 football game against the Fresno State Bulldogs has been moved, from its previously scheduled date of Nov. 21, to Sat., Dec. 5. Time and television coverage of this contest has not yet been determined.

Illinois has never played a regular-season game in the month of December. The latest the Illini have wrapped up the regular season has been Nov. 30 of 1893, 1899 and 1905.
