Spring Football Update: March 10
March 10, 2014
The Fighting Illini continued spring practices with a spirited full pads practice inside the Irwin Practice Complex on Saturday and then an early morning workout outside on the turf at Memorial Stadium on Monday.
Saturday's practice was the first in full pads, giving the Illini a chance to get physical in the popular gauntlet and alley drills. Then on Monday, with temperatures forecast for the 50s and 60, the Illini finally got onto the turf at Memorial Stadium for a full practice inside the historic venue.
In the third spring practice report, assistant coach Al Seamonson, STAR Earnest Thomas III and LEO DeJazz Woods give an update on the outside linebackers. Checkout out the first two spring reports on the secondary and wide receivers. In addition, throughout the spring, Illini Productions will be following the Illinois QB competition with behind the scenes access and interviews. Watch the "The Illinois QB" series promo below.
