Illini Open Spring Practice Indoors

The Fighting Illini opened 2013 spring practice on Tuesday afternoon with a spirited session in the Irwin Indoor Football Complex. The team was forced into the the indoor practice facility due to a snow storm that swept through the midwest on Tuesday.
The team worked out in shorts and helmets, saving padded work for later in the spring practice period. Illinois has its next spring practice on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. It is closed to the public, but Saturday's noon practice is open to fans.
