Coach Ron Zook, his staff and the Fighting Illini football team, along with the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette, hosted the annual Football Family Fun Fest at Memorial Stadium this afternoon.
Kids of all ages enjoyed such activities as producing radio play-by-play tapes and participating in bungee jumping, bounce house, face painting, football throwing, 20 and 40-yard dashes, route running, field-goal kicking and more at the West Great Hall of Memorial Stadium and the Irwin Indoor Football Facility.
All of that followed a watch party the team hosted for fellow UI students. Those in attendance witnessed the Illinois men's basketball team's regular-season-ending victory at Michigan State on the big screen.
