Illinois Football Family Fun Fest presented by the News Gazette, WDWS and WHMS Set for March 13

University of Illinois head football coach Ron Zook, his coaching staff and players will host the Football Family Fun Fest presented by the News-Gazette, WDWS and WHMS on Sat., March 13. Coaches and players will be in the Irwin Indoor Practice Facility and Memorial Stadium Great West Hall between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The event is free and parking is available in the E-14, ARC and UI Law School lots.
Registration will take place at the West entrance of the indoor facility and at Gate 10 of the Great West Hall. Fans who attend the Fun Fest will also gain free admission to the Illinois Gymnastics Gym Jam at 2 p.m. at Huff Hall.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet, get autographs and take pictures with the 2010 Fighting Illini football squad. Inside the Irwin indoor facility, there will be field goal kicking, a quarterback challenge and, an obstacle course and timed 40-yard dashes, all hosted by Illini football players. The Great West Hall will host inflatable games like the Bounce House, Bungee Run and Giant Slide, as well as a station to try on an Illinois uniforms.
GYM JAM: Fighting Illini fans, join Illinois Gymnastics for Gym Jam on Saturday, March 13th at Huff Hall. The women will take on Missouri while the men face off against Michigan. The meet starts at 2:00 p.m. with free food for the first 1,000 fans beginning at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for youth, or come to the Football Family Fun Fest to pick up a free gymnastics admission ticket.
