University of Illinois assistant head coach and running backs coach Reggie Mitchell was named to Rivals.com's Top-25 Recruiter list. Mitchell, who has earned this honor in three of the past four years, is one of just five conference coaches to be selected.

Mitchell earns the accolades after leading Illinois to the fourth-ranked signing class in the Big Ten, and top-30 nationally. He is responsible for recruiting East St. Louis' Terry Hawthorne, who was named by Parade Magazine as the top receiver in the country. He also landed Leo High School's pair of four-star linemen Leon Hill and Lendell Buckner, as well as East St. Louis defensive back Tommie Hopkins, and highly touted, top-10 rated quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase, out of Kansas City.
