Illinois coach Tim Beckman introduced his coaching staff Tuesday afternoon in the Memorial Stadium Press Box. Beckman, who was hired as Illinois' 23rd head football coach on Dec. 9, welcomes eight new staff members and one carry-over from the previous staff in Keith Gilmore. Beckman and staff will sign their first recruiting class tomorrow on National Letter of Intent signing day.

The 2012 Illinois staff includes Tim Banks (defensive coordinator/safeties), Billy Gonzales (co-offensive coordinator/receivers), Chris Beatty (co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Luke Butkus (offensive line), Steve Clinkscale (cornerbacks), Keith Gilmore (defensive line), Alex Golesh (tight ends/specialists/recruiting coordinator), Tim Salem (running backs/special teams coordinator) and Mike Ward (linebackers).
