With NCAA Football National Letter of Intent Signing Day just a week away, the University of Illinois announces extensive coverage of the day's events on the official website, fightingillini.com. Fans will get an inside look at the Illinois "war room" on Wednesday, Feb. 1 beginning at 7 a.m. CT.

The site will start with a day-long blog that accounts the day's happenings beginning at 7 a.m. CT. Get all the news from within the football offices as well as up-to-the-minute details of incoming letters of intent from the Class of 2006. Fans will have three opportunities to interact directly with the coaching staff during the day with online chats scheduled for 10 a.m. with recruiting coordinator Reggie Mitchell, Noon with head coach Ron Zook and 2 p.m. with offensive coordinator Mike Locksley. Questions can be submitted to each coach in advance beginning on Monday, Jan. 30.

Illinois sports information assistant Jared Gelfond will host three segments of interviews with Illini assistant coaches at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Zook's press conference announcement of the Class of 2006 will take place at 3:30 p.m. For one-day only, the live video will be available free to viewers of fightingillini.com.
