The college football season ended just a week ago, but the Fighting Illini are already well underway with their preparations for the 2007 season. The second semester begins today, as do winter workouts. And the first group of new recruits is on campus, eager and ready to contribute.

Three freshmen backs were at the team meeting last night with Coach Ron Zook and his staff, and are attending class today. CoachRonZook.com caught up with these new student-athletes for get-acquainted interviews.
