Norwell Facing Toughest Challenge Yet
 
Former Illini defensive lineman battling lymphoma; fans can help

Chris Norwell has set school records on the hardwood, played in the Rose Bowl, and played in an NFL preseason. Now he is facing his toughest challenge yet. Norwell was diagnosed with Burkitt's Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in October, 2008.

Norwell, a four-year starter on the defensive line for the Fighting Illini, is back at his home in Cincinnati, where family and friends have come together to aid him in the fight to get his health back.
