LeDominique Williams is in his first year on the Fighting Illini coaching staff in 2014 after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant at Ohio University. Williams will assist Greg Colby with the Illinois defensive line. Williams spent the 2012 and `13 seasons as a member of the Ohio University coaching staff. In his role, Williams worked primarily with the Bobcats' defensive line unit, while also serving as video coordinator for the 2012 season. Williams spent 2011 at Ashland University, serving as a defensive graduate assistant and assistant video coordinator. At Ashland, Williams was the program's point person with the DVSport software. He also coached the defensive end position and recruited the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
Prior to his time at Ashland, Williams spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Charleston - his alma mater - where he served as the safeties coach in 2009 and the linebackers coach in 2010. In addition, Williams ran lifting, conditioning and speed training sessions. Williams earned two bachelor's degrees from the University of Charleston in business administration and sports administration, and is finishing up his master's degree from Ohio University in coaching education.
