2001: Redshirted the 2001 season
High School: Earned two football letters for Coach Doug Millsaps at Rolling Meadows High School … Had 1,100 rushing yards as a senior … Rushed for 2,280 yards and 30 touchdowns on 268 carries, averaging 8.3 yards per carry his junior year … Named to the all-conference and all-area teams in both 1999 and 2000 … Garnered 1999 Mid-Suburban Player of the Year honors … Named to the SuperPrep All-Midwest team … Led team to an 8-2 record in 1999 … Won conference title both junior and senior seasons … Earned four track letters … Broke the school record in the 100 and 400 meters as well as the 110 and 300 meter hurdles … Won the state title in the 110 meter hurdles and placed second in the 300 hurdles.
